London - crowded schedule still to be passed by Chelsea in January. Faced with Queens Park Rangers, Rafael Benitez did not rule out going back rotate players.
After passing through a busy December, Chelsea faced no less dense schedule in January. The first game in this year will be preceded by the host QPR at Stamford Bridge on Thursday (03/01/2013) pm dawn.
The Blues themselves through a busy period at the end of the year well. They wiped out the last three games in 2012, respectively, Aston Villa, Norwich City and Everton.
Benitez admitted that the decision to change the winning team was not easy. But former Liverpool manager was going to do it for around the busy schedules that will be faced.
For the record, three days after the game counter QPR, Chelsea will face Southampton in the FA Cup. Four days later, Swansea City has been waiting in the first leg of the League Cup semifinals.
"We replaced the two players for the game against Everton to include players who are fit," said Benitez on Chelsea's official website.
"When you play a lot of games in a short time, it is important to have players who are fit and energetic, so I tried to set this up in the last few games."
"It was a tough decision as against Norwich on Boxing Day we played well and replace the players who are doing well it is not easy, because everyone had a good game when it wanted to keep playing."
"You try to identifies that we want to keep every player to be ready, and now we will probably do the same thing again and hopefully they will understand and we still keep the level of the team," he said.
